Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced product development environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, test plans, and test procedures to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs and defects.
• Perform comprehensive regression testing after defects are resolved.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, QA leads) to maintain quality across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Investigate non-conformities in software and recommend corrective actions.
• Demonstrate team handling and coordination capabilities when required.
• Work with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber for automation testing.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience writing clear, comprehensive, and effective test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience in both white-box and black-box testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
