Flexsin Technology - Senior Network Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable enterprise networks.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LAN, WAN, Cloud Networking, Firewalls, Routing, and Switching, and will provide technical leadership in network infrastructure projects, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities Design & Implementation

Design, configure, and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions for enterprise environments.
Deploy, configure, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networks.
Plan and implement network upgrades, migrations, and optimizations to ensure scalability

and high availability.

Collaborate with architects and IT teams to align network infrastructure with business

requirements.

Network Security & Compliance

Implement and maintain network security policies, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
Conduct network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, regulatory standards, and industry best

practices.

Monitor and respond to network security incidents and breaches.

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Optimization

Monitor network performance using tools like Solar Winds, Nagios, PRTG, or equivalent.
Identify and resolve network performance issues, outages, and bottlenecks.
Optimize bandwidth utilization, latency, and network reliability.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Work closely with IT, Security, and Application teams to support business-critical applications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and third-party partners for network support and

procurement.

Projects & Upgrades

Lead network-related projects, migrations, and cloud network implementations.
Evaluate and implement new networking technologies, tools, and solutions.
Conduct proof-of-concepts (POC) and provide recommendations for network improvements.

Technical Skills & Competencies :
Skills :

Strong experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF,

EIGRP).

Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, CheckPoint), VPNs, and security Expertise in switching, VLANs, STP, QoS, and wireless networking (Wi-Fi, access points).
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, GCP networking).

Experience with network monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with packet capture, network logs, and protocol

analysis.

Optional / Preferred Skills

Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, or network automation (Ansible, Python, Terraform).
Understanding of VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools networking.
Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, AWS/Azure networking, or Fortinet NSE
