We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Technician / Generator Technician to join our team in Noida, India. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems and generators, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of renewable energy solutions.
Install, maintain, and repair solar panel systems and generators for residential and commercial clients
Conduct site assessments and evaluate electrical systems to determine the most suitable solar or generator solutions
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on solar panels and generators
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar systems and generators, implementing effective solutions
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all installations and repairs
Collaborate with the team to optimize system performance and energy efficiency
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs
Provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance
Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar and generator technologies
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in electrical technology, renewable energy, or related field preferred
8+ years of experience in solar panel installation, maintenance, and/or generator technology
Proven knowledge of electrical systems and power generation technologies
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining solar panels and generators
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in the renewable energy industry
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation purposes
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Relevant certifications such as NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) or OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) are a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as needed
