Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced  Instructional Designer / Learning Designer  to join our fast-growing team  role involves creating student-centred, engaging, and effective online learning experiences. You will collaborate with faculty subject matter experts, learning technologists, and media producers to develop high-quality courses across digital, blended, and face-to-face formats.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop  instructionally sound digital, blended, and face-to-face content  in consultation with faculty experts.
Collaborate with faculty to  create or revise course materials  based on curricular requirements.
Ensure course designs are optimized for  adult online learners  and meet GEDU's instructional design standards.
Align  program outcomes, course competencies, assessments, and learning activities  to maximize learner efficiency.
Prioritize and manage  multiple course development projects  to ensure on-time delivery.
Design and integrate  instructional media  to enhance online engagement, interaction, and motivation.
Research and implement  emerging learning practices and technologies  to continuously improve course design.
Write effective  online instructions, audio/video scripts , and interactive content for various learning mediums.

Qualifications &

Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5–8 years of experience in  instructional design, teaching, training, or related fields .
Working knowledge of  adult learning, instructional design, or online learning theories .
Strong  visualization, creative writing, and storyboarding skills  for multimedia productions.
Excellent  communication skills , both verbal and written.
Strong  organizational and project management skills  to handle multiple course development projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail, initiative, and proactive follow-through.
Proficiency in  MS Word and Excel .

Experience with  learning software applications  such as Articulate 360, Canvas, and SharePoint.
Knowledge of  web-based learning standards (SCORM, xAPI)  and virtual learning environments.
Experience in designing  interactive instruction and online learning activities .
