Purchase Order Creation:

- Ensuring proper checking of documents and calculations as per laid down procedure.

Creation of purchase orders in SAP and followup for online approvals (both domestic and imports POs)

Releasing approved POs to user and vendors and obtaining acknolodgements.

Maintaining Trackers for monitoring timelines for various activities.

GR/ SE and Vendor Invoice processing for payments:

- Proper checking of invoices and other docuemtns (ABG, PBG etc) submitted by vendors, doing GR/ SE in SAP, raising DPR for advace release and forwading invocies for payment processing.

Maintaining trackers (Invoices, ABG, PBG etc).

Excise and sales tax Compliances:

- Availing Cenvat credits, maintaining proper documentation as per Excise requirements.

Preparing data for Excise returns and filing the same.

Co-ordinating for issuing of timely Road permits to vendors

Ensuring the smooth Procurement process of Engineering Spares & Consumables, Production consumables, Housekeeping and other general consumables in Co-ordination with internal Departments, Engineers and other users for their timely availability for maintenance of equipments and other requirements, by following predefined procurement schedules such as MRP in SAP, and in timely and cost effective manner by means of effective negotiations and vendor management skills.

This includes taking comparative quotations from vendors, commercial negotiations, preparation of related documents keeping all the laid down systems and procedures intact, preparation of the purchase orders in SAP and following-up with the vendors for timely delivery of materials, inspection of incoming materials for better quality control, clearing of bills etc.

Ensuring Inventory control measures to control inventory of spares of equipments to maintain optimal inventory levels and cost analysis of materials by analyzing their consumption pattern.

Note:

Working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage
