Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage accounting operations for our workforce management business. The role will focus on financial accounting, invoicing, collections, timesheet management, and payroll computation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Indian accounting systems and payroll processing within a service-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate recording of revenues, expenses, receivables, and payables
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Invoicing & Collections
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices as per contractual terms
- Track accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
- Reconcile invoices with collections and resolve discrepancies
Timesheet Management
- Manage and validate employee timesheets in coordination with internal teams
- Maintain timesheet documentation for payroll and billing purposes
Payroll Computation
- Compute monthly payroll based on approved timesheets and attendance
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely salary processing
Process & Compliance Support
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
- Continuously improve accounting, payroll, and billing processes
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com / MBA preferred)
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in workforce management, staffing, or service-based companies
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting systems and payroll processing
- Hands-on experience with timesheet-based billing and payroll computation
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, office-based environment
