Position SummaryThe RN Manager for Womens and Infants Services provides operational and clinical leadership within the department. The manager will oversee staff, ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement in patient care outcomes.
The typical schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts, including administrative duties and staffing support as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day departmental operations to ensure seamless coordination and effective care delivery.
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to foster engagement, accountability, and excellence.
Maintain staffing efficiency and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and safety.
Address quality assurance issues, patient feedback, and performance metrics proactively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices and improve clinical workflows.
Manage departmental budgets, supply inventory, and cost-effective operations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the Nurse Practice Act and Title 22 standards.
Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
Qualifications- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or related, Womens and Infants Services units.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications: Relevant clinical and leadership certifications are highly desirable.
