Base pay range

Modality: Special Education Teacher
Local Pay Rate: $45/HR
Grade Levels: Kindergarten through Grade 12
Position Type: Full‑Time

• Provide quality services to students with special needs across K–12.
• Collaboratively plan and implement individualized student programs.
• Deliver specialized instruction, offer tutorial assistance, and consult with general education staff.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• Valid state teaching certificate, as required by state and district regulations.
• Minimum of one year experience in a teaching environment (preferred).
• State Teacher Certification:
  Standard Elementary Teaching, Standard Secondary Teaching or Standard Special Teaching (preferred).
• Endorsement:
  Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR certification (if applicable).
• Tuberculosis screening (questionnaire, PPD or chest X‑ray), if applicable.
• Current health certificate, per contract or state regulation.
• Meets all federal, state, and local requirements.
• At least 18 years of age.
