A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing is sought for a contract position located in Noblesville, IN. This role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgeries in a high-acuity clinical setting. The position offers a standard Monday through Friday daytime schedule, working 40 hours per week, with occasional overnight call requirements that vary throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular surgery unit.
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage cardiac and vascular surgery patients throughout operative procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years' experience in cardiac and vascular surgery nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong familiarity with cardiovascular operating room protocols and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
