Oldcastle Lawn and Garden is looking for an Assistant Site Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to oversee all aspects of a fast‑paced lawn & garden products manufacturing facility. Daily duties include monitoring key point measures, safety, production flow and material costs. In this role, the Assistant Site Manager will have responsibility and accountability for bottom‑line results.
Job LocationThis is an onsite role in Noblesville, IL.
Job Responsibilities- Implement process improvement methods and ensure non‑stop production in an effective, safe, and profitable manner.
- Provide leadership to staff, assess performance, and direct all operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Ensure workplace safety through implementation, adherence, and enforcement of company business standards, as well as safety and development programs.
- Assist with maintaining a quality control program to ensure that we produce quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate production records by assisting the Plant Manager with production entry when necessary.
- 2+ years manufacturing management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred.
- Base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000.
