The Home Medical Equipment Tech triages rental home respiratory equipment and performs required repairs, calibration, and recertification in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Lincare guidelines.
Job Responsibilities- Repairs and recertifies home Ventilator, Concentrators, and other respiratory equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Executes testing procedures utilizing proprietary test equipment, ensures compliance to codes/manufacturer's instructions, troubleshoots, and sterilizes equipment for patient use.
- Performs preventive maintenance and manufacturer required function testing
- Triages returned devices and determines proper disposition
- Maintains a safe and organized production/test area
- Documents and maintains records for all repair and function test of equipment
