This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Locum Vascular Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical services to patients with vascular conditions. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes while adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.
Responsibilities- Perform vascular surgeries, including endovascular and open procedures
- Evaluate patients and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Indiana
- Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in vascular procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Prior experience in a locum tenens or contract role is preferred
Schedule:
3-5 weekdays per week
No call required
Monthly Volume: 8 surgery cases, 60 cath lab procedures
Required Procedures:
Arterial and venous, forming/testing/repairing fistulas, open carotids, intra-op rescue for other surgeons, and anterior lumbar spine exposures
EMR:
Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
