Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at YOO Direct Health in Noblesville. The ideal candidate ensures efficient operations and excellent customer service in a medical and aesthetic office. Responsibilities include patient scheduling, administrative duties, answering phones.
Responsibilities- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they arrive at the office.
- Register new patients, update existing patient information, and verify insurance details.
- Schedule patient appointments and confirm upcoming appointments.
- Process patient payments for services and provide receipts as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally, promptly, and to completion.
- Analyze patient accounts to accurately resolve customer questions and to anticipate and resolve potential future issues.
- Reply to patients timely and accurately for all forms of communication (phone, text, patient portal, email).
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
- Maintain a pleasant and organized waiting area.
- Monitor inventory of supplements, front office supplies, specialty testing kits, and bathroom supplies to ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Participate in ordering specialty testing kits as needed.
- Stock supplies and track incoming shipments to ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical administration is a plus. - Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist in a medical office is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and following HIPAA guidelines.
- Technical proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and medical scheduling software.
- Problem solving and time management skills.
- Teamwork and adaptability in a quick environment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
