Nixa, Missouri | Position:
Wellness Nurse Manager | Position Type: PRN | Sign On Bonus: $5,000

Starting wage: $27.50-$31.00 per hour. Shift schedule:
Week 1 – Monday, Saturday, Sunday;
Week 2 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7am-7pm. The position is at The Castlewood Senior Living, 1538 N Old Castle Rd, Nixa, MO 65714.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Superior Supervisor:
    In the absence of department heads, manage the building. Actively participate in the department, lead the Wellness team, and coordinate with other departments to ensure quick, reliable, and person-centered care.
  • Be a Force on the Floor:
    Model strong leadership, assist with call lights and requests, and demonstrate urgency to put residents’ needs first.
  • Be a Diligent Documenter:
    Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file correctly.
  • Be a Compassionate Caregiver:
    Uphold Arrow’s core values in every interaction, ensuring each resident feels safe and cared for.
What are we looking for?
  • You must have a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of employment.
  • Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
  • Experience with memory-impaired residents is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a passion for residents.
  • Active role is required: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist after a fall.
  • Criminal background clearance.
