Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 4A Cardiac Unit

Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed practitioner or a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality.

• Graduate Nurse Sign On Bonus: $2,000
• Experienced LPN Sign On Bonus: up to $10,000
• PTO Frontload: up to 40 hours for full‑time experienced LPNs

• Telemetry Monitoring
• Pacemaker/ICA Care
• Post Angio Care
• TR Band
• 5 Main Medication Drips

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (comparable experience considered)
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
• Physical Requirements: Stand/walk most of the shift, bend/stoop, lift/turn patients (up to 50 lb) with assistance
• Experience: New or experienced LPN acceptable
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the AHA or successful completion within 30 days of hire
