Position Overview

Salary: $18.00–$19.00 per hour.

Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11 pm – 7 am.

The Castlewood, 1538 N Old Castle Rd., Nixa, Missouri 65714.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate of Empathy:
    Create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
  • Patient Observer:
    Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and individual needs; collaborate on engagement plans and implement strategies with patience for success.
  • Master of the Mise en Scène:
    Set the stage for residents’ daily life—from preparing the dining room for breakfast to arranging the library for an event and guiding residents through their nightly routine.
  • Life Partner:
    Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life, from the moment they wake to the moment they sleep.
  • Document Resident Care:
    Accurately record resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with Orientation:
    Support team members assigned to the memory care neighborhoods.
Qualifications
  • Age 18 or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient reading, writing, and communication in English.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and genuine love for residents.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Capability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
  • Criminal background clearance.
