Memory Care Aide $18-19 7a-3p (Part Time) at The Castlewood, 1538 N Old Castle Rd, Nixa, Missouri 65714. The role focuses on memory care support and resident engagement within a home-like environment that values team growth and resident quality of life.

• Be an “Advocate of Empathy”: understand the importance of empathy and create human connections with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Serve as a Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and abilities, collaborate to create engagement plans, and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
• Master the Mise en Scène: prepare the physical environment to support a positive daily experience (e.g., dining room, library, resident rooms).
• Act as a Life Partner: support residents to achieve daily life activities from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately and timely.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude with a love for residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Active physically: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and helping after a fall.
• Criminal background clearance.
