We are seeking motivated and talented engineering students to join our team for our summer internship program. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines, including Automation, Metallurgy, and Manufacturing. These positions will be located in our Niles, Oh facility. The program is anticipated to start at the end of May 2026, and run through the beginning of August 2026, with the total duration anticipated to be between 10-12 weeks.
Interns will be assigned to specific departments based on their area of interest and expertise. Each intern will work on a department-specific project, gaining valuable experience and contributing to real-world solutions. Projects will be tailored to the intern's discipline, providing an in-depth understanding of their chosen field.
Manufacturing Engineering (Process and Operations):
* Assist in production planning and process development.
* Participate in the design and testing of manufacturing equipment.
* Support troubleshooting and optimization of manufacturing processes.
, QualificationsBasic/Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution with a current cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of investment casting manufacturing process a plus
- Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
- Comfortable with exposure to a manufacturing environment.
