• The salary schedule begins at $41,600 for a teacher with a bachelor s degree and no experience.
• TCESC teachers work a 184-day contract.
• TCESC pays 90 percent of a teacher s healthcare premium each month.
• Teachers accrue paid sick leave and also have three personal days per year.
• TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy.
• Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement.
• TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators.
