The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an opening for the school year for a Substitute TEACHER in its Fairhaven school-age program.
POSITION:
* Substitute Teacher
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Providing instruction to students with developmental disabilities in approved or adapted curriculum areas.
* Developing and implementing daily lesson plans consistent with students' Individual Education Plans and the Ohio's academic content standards-extended.
* Maintaining classrooms conducive to learning.
* Conducting conferences with parents/guardians or other personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ideal candidates must have a Substitute Teaching License, or be in the process of obtaining, licensure from the Ohio Department of Education as an Intervention Specialist K-12 Moderate /Intensive.
COMPENSATION:
* Substitute hourly rate is $23.50 an hour.
