• Safely operate truck to destination arriving on schedule
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck conditions.
• Maintains driver log according to D.O.T. regulations
• Assists in loading and unloading truck. Always secures loads to trailers
• Verifies contents of load with manifest before leaving
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water and reports daily with inspection logs
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Performs all assignments as directed
• To conduct all operation of vehicle in a professional manner
• To operate vehicle in a courteous, efficient manner at all times
• To keep accurate and dependable vehicle documents (i.e. Insurance cards, cab cards, permits, registrations for trailers, etc.)
• Ability to identify minor maintenance issues that may occur on the road and manage repairs utilizing company resources within company policy for the same
• To adhere to appropriate safety procedures for securing of panels while unloading (i.e. safety chains, straps, etc.)

• To safely maneuver tractor & trailer on jobsite
• To conduct all operation of vehicle in a professional manner
• To operate vehicle in a courteous, efficient manner at all times
• To keep accurate and dependable vehicle documents (i.e. Insurance cards, cab cards, permits, registrations for trailers, etc.)
• Ability to identify minor maintenance issues that may occur on the road and manage repairs utilizing company resources within company policy for the same
• To adhere to appropriate safety procedures for securing of panels while unloading (i.e. safety chains, straps, etc.)

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems in a calm and rational manner
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Ability to back into tight areas where pavement may not exist
• Ability to qualify for a D.O.T. Medical Card
• Ability to pass drug screening

Experience Requirement:

Two to five years with driving CDL

Education Requirement:

High School education

Pay: $25.00 + per hour
