Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Hardscape Installer located in Niles, MI. The Hardscape Installer will be responsible for hands‑on tasks such as the installation of patios, retaining walls, walkways, and other hardscape structures. Daily responsibilities also include site preparation, operating tools and equipment, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within specifications.
Collaboration with team members and adherence to quality standards will be essential for success in this role.
- Experience with hardscape installation techniques, including laying pavers, building retaining walls, and other stonework
- Ability to operate and maintain tools and machinery such as compactors, saws, and skid‑steer loaders
- Knowledge of site preparation, grading, and drainage to ensure durable and high‑quality construction
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with team members and project managers
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and commitment to following safety protocols
- Prior experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or related fields is preferred
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
