CNC Machinist - Lathe Operator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Machinist - Lathe Operator at our Niles, MI facility. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce precision components according to blueprints and technical specifications. Daily tasks include machine setup, operation, and adjustments, as well as monitoring production for accuracy and quality. The Lathe Operator will ensure proper maintenance of equipment and adherence to safety standards while collaborating with the shop team to meet production goals.

• Proficiency in Programming and Lathe set-up and operations
• Experience in Quality Control and inspection processes to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining Machinery in a production environment
• Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and measurement tools
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adhere to safety protocols
• 5+years lathe experience required
• CAD/CAM programming is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; vocational or technical training is preferred
