Location: Niles, IL

Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Scheduler to support a growing operations team within a custom manufacturing and printing environment. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time. The Scheduler works closely with Project Managers and Production teams and plays a critical role in meeting customer commitments.

This is an individual contributor role within Manufacturing/Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and manage production schedules using Print Flow or a similar electronic planning system.
  • Ensure jobs are properly broken down into tasks and scheduled accurately.
  • Coordinate work center and press schedules to align capacity, resources, and due dates.
  • Verify feasibility of promised delivery dates and make schedule adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor daily schedule progress and report on production status.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and workflow.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and production teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with electronic scheduling systems.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (printing experience is a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Print Flow or similar planning software.
  • Experience improving production scheduling efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong communicator with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solver.
