Shure is looking for a Sales Development Specialist - AV/IT (Channel Partners) to help elevate our presence within some of the largest AV/IT integration partners in the world.
This role is all about supporting and growing our strategic channel business by providing high impact technical expertise, delivering compelling product demos, and shaping bestinclass customer experiences.
You'll partner closely with our Strategic Channel Leader to engage our major integrators - billiondollar organizations with engineering, marketing, procurement, and sales teams distributed nationwide. You'll serve as the technical interface for these partners, helping them understand Shure's value, solve complex challenges, and successfully design and deploy our solutions.
If you enjoy presenting to groups (from intimate teams of 20 to 500+), building great content, demonstrating professional audio technologies, and collaborating with cross functional leaders - this is your stage.
What You'll Do- Support Shure's top strategic integrators with technical expertise, demos, and product training
- Work closely with engineering teams at partner organizations to answer technical questions and guide solution design
- Collaborate with procurement, marketing, sales, and engineering leadership across multiple accounts
- Join high visibility events (sales kickoffs, education summits, federal summits, private trade shows, webinars) and present confidently to large audiences
- Create compelling presentation content - leveraging tools like Copilot when needed
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and help partners navigate Shure's ecosystem and resources
- Serve as a force multiplier for the Strategic Channel Leader across daytoday support and major events
This position will be remote from anywhere in the continental U.S.
Responsibilities- Focuses on the AV/IT strategic channel accounts, executes strategic plans to identify and engage with key technical stakeholders and departments to drive new product adoptions and maintain current market share.
- Executes education programs and presentations with Account Management and field reps to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company product categories.
Supports channel partner sales and design teams as a technical consultant for customer projects.
- Works closely with business leaders to align on growth opportunities. Responsible for co-selling and demos with channel account managers to enterprise clients.
- Anticipates customer needs and overcomes competitive sales objections while positioning products against competition.
- Familiar with the Partner Marketing Plans between Shure and strategic accounts and works with Shure Strategic Account Management and Channel Marketing teams on execution as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in business or relevant professional field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a technical sales account professional beyond entry level with a comprehensive technical knowledge of AV principles and UC technology and products.
- Market experience in AV integration, UC, IT, broadcast, and/or production a plus.
- The following certifications are a plus:
Microsoft Teams Rooms Solution Sales Professional and Certified Microsoft Teams Rooms Technical Solutions Professional - Working knowledge of AI Productivity tools such as Copilot are a plus.

- Ability to travel 50% of the working days
- Occasional visits to Niles HQ or other regional Shure offices for training and education.
- Ability to stay current on Shure products, technology, marketplace, and their practical applications, as well as competitive products.
