Design & Sales Coordinator (Entry Level)

Pay Range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour
Position SummaryThe Design & Sales Coordinator is an entry‑level support role responsible for assisting the design and sales teams throughout the custom closet sales and project lifecycle. This position supports design preparation, client communication, project coordination, and administrative tasks while gaining hands‑on experience in custom closet design, sales processes, and client service.
This role is intended as a development position, with training, mentorship, and clear pathways for growth into Designer, Sales Consultant, or Project Coordination roles.
Design & Showroom Support- Assist Lead Designers with preparation of custom closet designs
- Create basic floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using company‑approved design software (training provided)
- Collect, organize, and document client measurements, photos, and project details
- Maintain showroom appearance, samples, and design library standards
- Support the Sales Director and design team with client follow‑ups, scheduling, and documentation
- Assist with preparation of proposals, presentations, estimates, and design revisions
- Communicate with clients to gather information and relay updates under supervision
- Maintain accurate client and project records within company systems
- Track project timelines and assist with status updates
- Organise and maintain digital and physical project files
- Coordinate internally with production and installation teams as directed
- Assist with ordering materials, tracking deliveries, and managing inventory
- Assist with basic marketing initiatives, including social media content support and event preparation
- Support lead generation and outreach efforts as assigned
- Contribute to maintaining positive client relationships and company reputation
- Interest in interior design, custom closets, sales, or business operations
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow processes, receive feedback, and apply training
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with basic office software and willingness to learn new systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required
- Prior experience in customer service, sales support, design assistance, or administrative roles is a plus
- Recent graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work in‑office during standard business hours
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the showroom and office environment
- Ability to lift and carry samples or materials up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation required for occasional local travel
- Accuracy and organisation of project and client documentation
- Timeliness and professionalism in internal and client communications
- Ability to learn design software and company processes
- Consistent collaboration with sales, design, and operations teams
- Contribution to a positive, professional team environment
This position is designed as a growth role. With demonstrated performance and skill development, the Design & Sales Coordinator may advance into roles such as Designer, Sales Consultant, or Project Coordinator.
