This laboratory courier position requires a detailed, oriented driver that can operate a courier route by picking up samples from facilities and/or other phlebotomists in a timely manner. This specific position requires a courier located in Indianapolis.

Hours: 2nd shift - 4pm-1am (Hours may vary)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour

Reports To: Off‑Site Logistics Manager

Location: Nicholasville, KY to Eastern KY area

Status: Non‑Exempt

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Keep records of all pick‑ups and drop‑offs.
• Ensure car maintenance is up to date.
• Comply with safe driving precautions.
• Maintain cleanliness.
• Respond quickly to pick‑up and delivery of samples.
• Must have open availability.
• Must be able to utilize navigation systems (Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc.) and other mobile applications to locate pick‑up and drop‑off locations.
• Must adhere to strict attendance guidelines.
• Must comply with all HIPAA guidelines.
• Must comply with all company health and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Data Entry.
• Keeping office and lab area clean.
• Performing other office duties as assigned.
• The job requires handling clinical specimens.

• Good oral and written communication.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Detailed oriented.
• Flexible schedule availability.

• One year of prior job‑related experience preferred.
• Previous courier experience.

• High School Diploma.

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit for long periods.
• Must be able to drive for long periods.
• Ability to wear laboratory personal protective equipment (PPE) 3‑6 hours out of the day.

• Frequently exposed to the elements.
• Subjected to driving in inclement weather conditions.
