• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.

  Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.

  Maintains operational excellence and work area per company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile/high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchases; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season). Premiums may apply if criteria are met.
