Who

we are looking for:

Suralink pioneered client‑engagement software for accounting and advisory firms, helping 1,200+ practices worldwide close the client‑readiness gap and safeguard trust. As we scale into larger, more complex firms, we’re investing in a Business Development Representative to expand our pipeline and open doors for our Enterprise and Strategic sales teams.

You’ll focus on prospecting, qualifying, and generating new opportunities with mid‑market and strategic accounts. This is an early‑career role with strong potential for growth into Account Executive or Strategic Sales leadership roles. You’ll be a key part of our EMEA landing team, shaping how Suralink is introduced to new clients and building strong relationships from the first touch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Generation:
    Proactively research, identify, and engage prospects within target accounts, including mid‑market and Top 100 firms.
  • Outbound Prospecting:
    Execute targeted outreach campaigns across email, phone, social, and events to initiate meaningful conversations with prospective clients.
  • Lead

    Qualification:

    Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring only high‑potential opportunities are passed to Account Executives.
  • Account Development:
    Build a strong understanding of target accounts, key stakeholders, and potential business needs to enable strategic sales pursuits.
  • CRM Management:
    Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in Salesforce, including activity, pipeline, and account insights.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner with AEs, Marketing, and Customer Success to refine messaging, develop and execute ABM motions on target accounts, and improve outreach strategies.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Develop deep knowledge of Suralink’s platform, client solutions, and industry trends to position value effectively.
Experience and Professional

Qualifications:
  • Must be based out of the UK, London/South West preferred.
  • 1–3+ years in B2B sales, inside sales, or business development, ideally in vertical SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, lead generation, and qualifying opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage C‑level, Director, and manager‑level stakeholders.
  • Comfortable handling high‑volume outreach while maintaining quality and personalization.
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient, with a desire to learn and grow within sales.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Hub Spot preferred) and sales engagement tools.
  • Comfortable working fully remote, with a preference for candidates in London.
  • Exposure to account‑based sales or strategic prospecting approaches.
Additional

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling into vertical software, preferably accounting, internal audit, legal tech, or professional services.
  • Existing network or familiarity with Top 100 accounting firms.
  • Previous experience as an accountant or internal auditor.
  • Curiosity and Learning Agility:
    Quick to understand Suralink’s platform, customer needs, and industry landscape.
  • Persistence and Drive:
    Motivated to generate opportunities and overcome obstacles in the sales process.
  • Communication Excellence:
    Clear, concise, and persuasive communicator via email, phone, and video.

    Collaboration:

    Works closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Customer Success to maximize impact.
  • Organization and Discipline:
    Effective at managing multiple priorities, tracking activity, and maintaining CRM rigor.
