Retail Manager

Overview

Retail Manager – Based at RAF Halton, Wendover, Aylesbury, HP22 5PG
. This is an opportunity to join a Global Organisation with over 430,000 staff worldwide and support Armed Services Personnel. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with various 8 hour shifts between 7am and 10:30pm. Flexibility may be required to meet business needs, including weekends. Salary: £32,000 per annum + Sodexo benefits.

• Perform and supervise the day to day activities of the areas under your responsibility.
• Manage all IT systems within the areas including but not limited to Kronos, Drive, CPOS.
• Manage all aspects of a team of staff, ensuring all training and development is completed and up to date.
• Achieve financial and budget targets.
• Ensure delivery of operations across the retail outlets.

• Experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a company.
• Good numerical and communication skills; must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
• Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety.
• Able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
• Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Proven experience in hospitality sector, including stock management, cash control and customer service.
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards.
• Analytical problem solving; identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
• High organisational skills to run multiple outlets.
