Business Development Director – Microsoft Business ; Government

Business Development Director – Microsoft Business Applications (Central Government) Permanent role UK based - hybrid role. SC Cleared or eligible (no sponsorship can be offered) Basic salary + OTE

This role is for a Business Development Director who has sold enterprise‑grade Microsoft Business Applications (D365 CRM, D365 F&O, Power Platform) into central government. If you have experience working with Microsoft Partners or in Microsoft ecosystem sales is highly desirable. Knowledge of government procurement processes, frameworks, and tendering procedures.

• Lead the business development strategy for Microsoft Business Applications across central government accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and close enterprise-level opportunities in D365 CRM, D365 F&O, and Power Platform.
• Build strong relationships with senior government stakeholders, influencing digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise-grade standards.
• Act as the face of the organization in government forums, events, and executive discussions.
• Maintain insight into public sector trends, Microsoft roadmap, and competitor activity to drive strategy.

• Proven success selling Microsoft Business Applications (D365 CRM, F&O, Power Platform) into central government.
• Experience managing complex, enterprise-grade deals from pipeline to close.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement and decision‑making processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Strategic mindset, able to translate business opportunities into actionable growth plans.
