Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in office)

Industry: Financial Services

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE

The Opportunity

I’m currently working with a well-established financial services organisation based in Bristol that is looking to add a Data Analyst to their growing analytics team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data to drive business decisions and wants to join a collaborative environment where analytics plays a key role in strategic initiatives. You’ll be working closely with teams across finance, risk, and operations to turn complex datasets into clear insights that support business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support business performance monitoring.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organisation to gather data requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to improving analytics tools, reporting frameworks, and data processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience working as a Data Analyst (experience within financial services or a regulated industry is highly beneficial).
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets.
  • Experience using Power BI,
    Tableau or similar BI tools to build dashboards and visualisations.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
    .
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
    .
  • Experience working with financial data, risk or regulatory reporting
    .
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
