As Senior Playout Director, you’ll oversee the seamless delivery of scheduled live sports broadcasts to DAZN’s European linear channels and global OTT platform. Based in Bangor, this is a hands‑on operational role with mentorship and leadership opportunities. You'll manage daily playout, coordinate with production teams across the globe, and act as a key escalation point for technical issues. Your responsibilities will include executing high-profile events, maintaining signal quality, supporting the broader transmission infrastructure, and helping evolve our TX capabilities as DAZN continues to scale.

• Execute scheduled live events, ensuring content is aired with precision and accuracy
• Monitor and maintain quality control across all transmission signals
• Load, prepare, and transmit daily playout schedules to multiple territories
• Verify availability of all scheduled media; liaise with graphics, production and scheduling teams as needed
• Provide frontline support for transmission services, hardware and systems
• Anticipate technical faults and implement pre‑emptive solutions to minimise downtime
• Serve as an escalation point for on‑shift issues and broadcast interruptions
• Mentor and support colleagues on shift, providing guidance and sharing best practices
• Support Operational Leads as required to optimise team performance

• Strong commercial experience in live broadcast transmission with file-based playout systems
• Background in live sports production with the ability to manage high-stakes events
• Technical fluency with broadcast automation systems (Morpheus, UX or hard client)
• Understanding of IP protocols and digital content delivery processes
• Awareness of compliance requirements for both commercial and residential broadcast platforms
• Familiarity with file delivery workflows and content validation
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapid changes in a live broadcast environment
• Experience working in a global media organisation
