Job title: Mechanical Shift Engineer (Data Centre Contract)

Location: Hertfordshire, EN8

Terms: (Continental Shift Pattern) (Days & Nights)

Salary/rate: Salary is paying £55,000.

Requirements:

• NVQ/C&G in Mechanical Engineering Level 2/3
• NVQ/C&G in Plumbing Level 2/3
• NVQ/C&G in HVAC Level 2/3
• Mechanical training courses
• AP status - desired
• Degree qualified - desired

About the company: A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to work on a State-of-the-art Data Centre based in Hertfordshire, EN8. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add an experienced Shift Engineer to their team.

Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a shift team on a Data Centre contract based in Hertfordshire, EN8
• PPM's & reactive maintenance.
• Managing PPM's, logbooks, and compliance.
• You will be responsible for all the output on the following PPM tasks:
  Emergency lighting, Fire alarms, Lighting, AHUs, FCUs, Plant room checks, etc.

Candidate requirements:

• The ideal candidate is client facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer)
• Strong building services background
• Either fully qualified mechanically
• Good multi-skilled maintenance experience
• Critical Data Centre experience - desired
