About the role
Everway is a highly respected brand within the UK Education Sector. As our Business Development Manager
, you will expand our market presence where we are established while devising strategies to grow influence in regions with opportunity. Your mission is to build a dependable pipeline and ensure a steady flow of revenue, demonstrating urgency, resilience, and innovative strategic thinking in a competitive, budget-conscious landscape.
Your approach to sales is value-led and highly collaborative. You will listen, interpret needs, and forge productive relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders within Education. You will drive partnerships that deliver lasting benefits to schools and students, reaffirming our commitment to accessible education for all.
Main Responsibilities- Secure opportunities within the education schools sector in the UK, particularly England.
- Build and maintain a reliable pipeline to ensure a consistent revenue flow, managing it rigorously and forecasting sales accurately.
- Collaborate with the SDR team to identify and target areas of growth within your vertical.
- Take full responsibility for managing the sales process from initiation to closure.
- Develop and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent Everway at industry events and exhibitions, engaging actively in networking.
- Actively participate in and contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions.
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive environment to strategically position Everway’s products.
- Keep comprehensive and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Consistently meet and exceed both personal and company sales targets.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in EdTech.
- Demonstrable track record of driving incremental revenue through the acquisition of new customers.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Experience with MEDDICC or similar sales frameworks.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, both in person and online.
- Willing to travel regularly to England as needed.
- Familiarity with operating within a SaaS business model.
- Familiarity with the current state of the education market and awareness of the latest trends in EdTech and/or Education Policy.
- Experience and understanding of inclusion, accessibility challenges and SEND.
- Experience with a range of Everway tools.
- Proven experience using social media platforms, such as Linked In, to enhance personal and company branding in a B2B or educational setting.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in EdTech.
- Experience with CRM systems and MEDDICC or similar sales frameworks.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, both in person and online.
- Willing to travel regularly to England as needed.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and the EdTech landscape.
- Understanding of inclusion, accessibility challenges and SEND.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast accurately.
