Overview
Gray & Adams (Ireland) Ltd is currently seeking both skilled and semi-skilled Production Operatives to join its growing team in Newtownabbey. The overall purpose of both roles is to manufacture refrigerated trailers and bodies in accordance with company standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities- Successfully deliver high quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Adhere to company Health and Safety policies.
- Implement and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Undertake regular training to achieve and maintain proficiency in all aspects of the role.
- Mechanically minded with a talent for hands-on working.
- Ability to complete work within required deadlines and allocated hours.
- Possess a basic knowledge of Health & Safety principles within a working environment.
- Prepared to work flexible hours when required.
- Willing to learn different skills and undertake training as required.
An apprenticeship qualification such as coach builder, mechanic, welder, electrician, plumber, joiner or similar. Able to contribute to improving productivity.
Desirable Skills- Hold licenses for some, or all, of the following:
Forklift driver, Crane operator, HGV Class 1 driving license.
- 33 Days Holiday pro rata to 4-day week.
