Newtownabbey Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours:
Monday to Friday Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter / Fabricator (Mechanical ) to join their team Newtownabbey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a secure and progressive business offering long-term stability and genuine career development.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for corrective, planned and preventative maintenance tasks of production plant to minimize downtime. Carry out predictive maintenance tasks and report on findings. Maintain and implement planned maintenance schedules and routines for all equipment. Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation. Ordering plant parts as and when required. Manage maintenance Contractors onsite, to ensure they comply with Health & Safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain a tidy and secure work environment. Provide regular information to assist management with decision-making Maintain files and administration as required, to comply with office processes and procedures Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the maintenance department Criteria:

Essential Criteria :
Methodical approach to problem-solving Fabricating/welding experience required Strong time management skills Ability to work independently while recognising team responsibilities Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks Highly motivated and proactive Valid driving licence Desirable Criteria:
