We’re looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our fast‑growing software organisation and play a pivotal role in securing new business and strategic accounts.

In this role, you’ll lead the full bid lifecycle — from qualification through to submission — working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver commercially competitive, technically robust, and compelling proposals. Your work will directly influence our win rates, market expansion, and long‑term customer partnerships.

• Lead end‑to‑end management of complex bids (RFPs, RFIs, tenders, frameworks, compliance assessments).
• Drive winning bid strategies aligned to customer needs, market trends, and product capabilities.
• Facilitate bid/no‑bid decisions with clear insights on scope, risk, resourcing, and strategic fit.
• Ensure quality through structured review processes and stakeholder feedback cycles.

• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Info Sec, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Senior Leadership.
• Run bid kick‑offs, workshops, and working sessions to ensure full organisational alignment.

• Develop, write, edit, and structure high‑quality responses with consistent tone, clarity, and compliance.
• Own all bid materials including executive summaries, solution narratives, pricing rationales, and compliance matrices.
• Manage timelines, review schedules, and deliverables to ensure flawless and on‑time submissions.
• Work with Product and Finance to validate pricing models and commercial structures.
• Identify and document risks across commercial, technical, contractual, and delivery areas.
• Ensure submissions meet governance, regulatory, and security standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO
  27001).

• Maintain and enhance bid libraries, templates, and reusable content.
• Lead win/loss reviews and embed lessons learned into future bid processes.
• Mentor junior bid staff and champion continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proven experience leading complex bids within a software or SaaS environment

• Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, cloud technologies, APIs, SLAs, and support structures.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into customer‑centric proposal content.
• Exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with technical, security, legal, and commercial teams.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO
  27001) and public‑sector procurement processes.
• Experience supporting or selling enterprise‑grade SaaS solutions.
