A passionate and creative Activities Leader will design and run engaging activities for our residents, ensuring their interests and needs are met. You will deliver stimulating programs across music, exercise, arts & crafts and more, building strong relationships and fostering independence.

• Use your creative talents to develop the ongoing activities plan for residents.
• Assess residents’ needs through meetings with them, team members and families.
• Provide stimulation and exercise tailored to individual needs via a varied programme including music, exercise and arts & crafts.
• Build relationships with residents and families to gather life story information and update care plans and activities.
• Spend individual time with residents, care staff and relatives to create personalised activities that engage residents and reflect their interests.
• Develop community links with local groups and arrange trips and excursions to involve residents in activities outside the home.
• Support the rollout of initiatives and encourage others to be involved.
• Create evidence and track activity engagement via digital and written methods.

• Previous experience in a care environment.
• Previous experience planning and delivering structured and meaningful activities.
