Recycling Improvement Officer (: R/RIO/M/26) | Fixed-Term (6 months) | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | £28,000 - £30,000/annum

Join the Green Team! We are seeking a proactive and engaging Recycling Improvement Officer to carry out service monitoring and help drive improvements within our Kerbside department. This role is responsible for ensuring service quality, operational accuracy, and compliance across our collection services, working closely with collection crews and management to identify issues, develop solutions, and maintain high customer service standards.

• Ensure service quality, operational accuracy, and compliance across collection services.
• Work closely with collection crews and management to identify issues, develop solutions, and maintain high customer service standards.

• Experience in a service delivery or customer-facing role
• Experience recording, analysing, and reporting information accurately
• Experience of using standard IT packages e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
• Current UK driving license and access to own transport

• Experience demonstrating leadership or supervisory skills, including guiding, mentoring, or influencing colleagues to improve performance

• Able to communicate confidently and professionally, using clear verbal and written communication
• Builds positive working relationships and can influence behaviour constructively
• Shows strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain adaptable in a busy, fast-paced operational environment
