Hours:

Monday–Thursday 8:35–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in
4).
Salary: OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)

Charles Hurst is recruiting a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop in Newtownabbey Toyota. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conduct services, and complete repairs to the highest standards. You will report to the Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support and ensure you have the tools needed to succeed.

• Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
• Conducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
• Warranty repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines with complete write‑ups
• Taking the customer’s vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
• Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

• Motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand)

• Full and valid driving licence

• Self‑motivated, supportive of the team, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to maintain the highest standards for all vehicles that take a spin through our doors
