Accounts Senior Manchester Up to £40,000

Butler Rose are pleased to be recruiting for a leading accountancy practice for an Accounts Senior role based in Manchester. • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax, and personal tax returns for directors.
• Meet regularly with key clients to discuss their financial performance and provide proactive advice.
• Review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring files are ready for senior review.
• Support and mentor colleagues from apprentice level through to senior, contributing to the day‑to‑day management of the accounts team.
• Ensure accounts and tax returns are submitted in line with compliance and close‑down procedures.
• Monitor client issues, providing solutions and maintaining high levels of service.
• Manage your own client workflow, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Identify opportunities for cross‑selling additional services across the firm.

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 3 years' post‑qualification experience.
• Proven background within an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS
  102, FRS
  102 Section 1A, and FRS
  105.
• Experience with consolidations and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development.
