We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Bridgwater,

40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?- Work closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team to advise on commercial strategy.
- Seek and implement effective risk management and mitigation strategies to achieve targeted commercial outcomes.
- Check, collate and sign off on the work of staff, collate high level commercial reports across the region and present to board level.
- Manage commercial staff across the project.
- Ensuring at all times the Company's governance and any contract specific requirements are adhered too.
Hold a Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Demonstrate lengthy experience in a senior commercial capacity within a Tier 1 main contracting environment, managing teams of significant size.
- Chartered Status in relevant professional body or appropriate professional qualification.
- Excellent overall contractual awareness with strong understanding of NEC, JCT conditions, arbitration and adjudication processes.
- Strong commercial reporting track record, ability to produce board level reports to the region accurately outlining the business commercial position, risks and opportunities.
- Experience in developing and implementing wider commercial strategies to drive work winning, business unit growth and profitability.
- Experience in procurement and working alongside procurement strategy to implement programme and business procurement strategy goals.
- High level technical, communication and IT skills.
- Proven advanced self-management skills, Disability Confident.
