Hours: 42 hour contract
Shift Times: 07:45 – 20:15
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Monday, Saturday, Sunday

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Plas Cae Crwn. You will join a team that is committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care we would want for our own family.
You will be using the latest care technology to spend more time with the service users. Plas Cae Crwn has an excellent reputation as a valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every day.
Responsibilities as a Senior Support Worker include building strong relationships with residents, ensuring family and friends feel welcomed, keeping health care professionals well-informed, and keeping your Line Manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress. You will be a team player who follows guidelines and policies, with good written skills for care plans.
ResponsibilitiesThe role requires prior experience working with older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and good with people. Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing are essential. You may have completed or be working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
