Overview

Then you may be the person we are looking for to be involved in shaping our services. We are recruiting a keen, enthusiastic and highly motivated Mental Health Practitioner (RMN, Occupational Therapist, or social worker) to join our Adult Community Eating Disorder Service, based within the grounds of Addenbrookes Hospital, in the vibrant University City of Cambridge.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve clinical care as a key element of the post, providing expert advice and support to patients, their families/carers, the multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work with the Matron, Consultants and Therapists to help develop and shape the service.
  • Practice a full range of core leadership and MDT team skills within the Adult Eating Disorders Team.
  • Play a vital role in developing services including MANTRA, providing 1-to-1 interventions and group work, along with medical monitoring pathways.
  • Collaborate and, where appropriate, work independently within the service.
Qualifications and experience
  • Qualified Mental Health Practitioner (RMN, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker).
  • Previous leadership experience is desirable.
  • Experience working in community Eating Disorder services is implied by the role.
  • Based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
