As clinical lead, you will lead and inspire our Respiratory workforce, driving service transformation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. We are seeking an experienced, confident, and highly motivated leader with a strong track record of managing teams and transforming service delivery within the health and care system.

We are looking for a leader who can demonstrate:

Extensive clinical experience within Respiratory.

Proven excellence in leadership, workforce development, and service transformation.

A dynamic, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and improvement.

The ability to inspire, influence and engage teams across diverse care settings.

Strong skills in collaboration, decision-making and strategic planning.

Main duties of the job

In this senior leadership position, you will:

Provide strategic and clinical leadership across primary care, community services, and hospital sites.

Work collaboratively with Professional Heads, Service Groups and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Support the integration and transformation of service delivery by interpreting and responding to national and local drivers.

Champion innovation, digital solutions and modern approaches to care delivery.

Act as a visible, engaging role model, demonstrating exceptional organisational and communication skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;

Person Specification Qualifications and Knowledge
  • Registered Nurse (NMC) Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist (HCPC)
  • Master s level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience of working at this level
  • Highly specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and practice
  • Robust knowledge and experience of local protocols and national policy
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Knowledge of service development and implementation within time frames
  • Knowledge of current Welsh Government policy and issues in adult health and social care
  • Non-medical prescriber
Experience
  • Significant operational management experience, including experience of managing and developing multi-disciplinary or integrated pathway teams
  • Experience of managerial and leadership practices and procedures within the specialty
