Senior Service Engineer – Ultrasonic Instrumentation
We are a manufacturer of advanced ultrasonic laboratory and industrial systems integrating high-frequency power electronics, precision mechanical assemblies, and control systems.
We are seeking a technically strong, hands-on Service Engineer who can diagnose complex electro-mechanical equipment at the component level and work directly with customers to resolve application and system issues.
This is not a general mechanic position. We are looking for someone comfortable troubleshooting electronics, interpreting schematics, thinking independently, and working within structured technical systems.
What You Will Do- Diagnose and repair ultrasonic generators, transducers, and integrated control systems
- Perform component-level electrical troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic tools
- Analyze system performance and lead root-cause investigations
- Communicate directly with laboratory and industrial customers via phone and email to troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance
- Maintain clear, professional written and verbal communication with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and next steps
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records within our ERP and service management systems
- Learn and effectively use our ERP platform to track service history, parts usage, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with Engineering on product performance improvements
- Provide technical leadership within the service function
- AS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar
- 5+ years servicing industrial equipment or laboratory instrumentation
- Strong background in:
- High-frequency systems
- Control systems
- Electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot beyond part replacement
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or service management software, or willingness to quickly learn structured systems
- Professional communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers by phone and email
