RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide direct, systematic instruction in academic, social-emotional, communication, behavioral, and adaptive skill areas.

* Design differentiated lessons aligned to IEP goals and the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards.

* Serve as case manager for assigned students, ensuring compliance with all special education timelines and documentation requirements.

* Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

* Collaborate with related service providers, preschool staff, and families.

* Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure effective implementation of student goals.

* Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings during Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings.

* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education regulations and timelines.

REMUNERATION: ? Based on Teacher contract

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Connecticut Certification as a Special Education Teacher 065, 165, 265
