Primary responsibilities as Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) for Eltra:- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ELTRA instruments via phone, email, and on‑site visits, including in‑house diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations.
- Maintain and service VSUS laboratory units, conduct preventive maintenance per service agreements, and assist with commissioning new equipment at customer sites.
- Prepare and issue quotes for spare parts and service work while building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and end users.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Technical field preferred, or at least 3 years’ experience as a maintenance/service technician in a laboratory or industrial environment, with solid understanding of single‑ and three‑phase electrical systems.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, standard hand tools), able to read/interpret schematics and technical drawings, and possessing basic mechanical systems knowledge.
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems preferred, plus strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel 35–50% (including overnight trips) and ability to stay organized and detail‑oriented in all responsibilities.
