Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Oversee payroll processing, including reviewing automated systems for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing financial reports and analyzing variances.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Experience with month-end close procedures and account reconciliations.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members.
